Serentica wins 1.5GW project in India, Envision Energy/Jinko/Trina Solar supplies equipment
New Delhi, India: Indian renewable energy company Serentica announced on Wednesday that it has successfully signed a 1.5GW renewable energy development project in India.
"Serentica will build photovoltaic and wind projects in the Indian states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra and Rajasthan," the company said. And solve the problem of grid connection with the Interprovincial Transmission System (ISTS).”

“EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) for the above projects will be executed by Suzlon, Sterling&Wilson, Amara Raja Power Systems, EverRenew and Rays Power. These projects are scheduled to be put into COD commercial operation in FY 2024-25,” the company said.

The company expects to supply more than 40 billion kWh of clean energy every year in the next 3 to 5 years, and achieve 37 million tons of energy saving and emission reduction effects. To support its growth goals, Serentica entered into a definitive agreement with global investor KKR worth $650 million in November 2022.
Serentica Renewables India Pvt. Ltd, which is backed by KKR, has signed an agreement to deliver 25 gigawatts of renewable energy to commercial and industrial users, director Pratik Agarwal said. Earlier, the company announced a definitive agreement with KKR to receive $250 million in financial support.
