The main material of the separator is high molecular polymer, which has good high temperature resistance and mechanical strength. The function of the separator is mainly to keep a certain distance between the positive and negative plates, and also to make the active material completely react with the colloidal electrolyte.
Precautions for charging the 12V gel battery: Do not wait for the gel battery to run out of power before charging, and it should be charged in time after discharge. The battery should be stored in a fully charged, cool and dry place, away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight. If it is stored for more than one month, it should be recharged before use, and it should be deeply charged and discharged once stored for more than three months. When charging in hot weather, be careful not to overheat the battery. In winter, the temperature is low, and the battery is easy to be insufficiently charged, so the charging time can be appropriately extended.
